Performance Rubric


Advanced "A"
  • The Student completes all homework assignments, showing all work, labeling answers and correcting errors.
  • The student maintains a 90% average on all tests and quizzes.
  • The student actively participates in class work, oral presentations and projects.
  • The student is absent from class less than 3 days per quarter.
  • The student works cooperatively in the classroom setting.
  • The student maintains a notebook of drills, notes, class and home assignments, past tests and corrections.
Proficient "B"
  • The student completes most of the homework assignments, showing all work, labeling answers and correcting errors.
  • The student maintains an 80% average on all tests and quizzes.
  • The student actively participates in class work, oral presentations and projects.
  • The student is absent from class less than 5 days per quarter.
  • The student works cooperatively in the classroom setting.
  • The student maitains a notebook of drills, notes, class and home assignments, past tests and corrections.
Satisfactory "C"
  • The student completes 75% of the homework assignments, showing work, labeling answers and correcting errors.
  • The student maintains an average of 70% on test and quizzes.
  • The student participates in classroom work only when called on.
  • The student is absent from school less than 7 days per quarter.
  • The student needs prompting to work cooperatively in the classroom setting.
  • The student's notebook is missing drills, notes, class and home assignments, past test, and corrections.
Unsatisfactory "D"
  • The student completes 60% of the homework assignments.
  • The student maintains a 60% average on tests and quizzes.
  • The student is absent from school less than 10 days per quarter.
  • The student does not work cooperatively in the classroom setting and may interrupt the lesson.
  • The student's notebook contains a minimum of drills, notes, class and home assignments, past tests and corrections.
Failing "F"
  • The student completes less than 60% of the homework assignments.
  • The student maintains an average below 60% on tests and quizzes.
  • The student is absent from school more than 10 days per quarter.
  • The student fails to work cooperatively in the classroom setting and needs to be disciplined.
  • The student does not have a notebook and is missing drills, notes, class and home assignments, past tests and corrections.
