English High students sponsor scholarship golf outing

The English High Student Council is sponsoring a "Scholarship Golf Outing" at Lynn's Gannon Municipal Golf Course to raise scholarship money for seniors headed off to college. The economy has changed many student plans and goals, causing some to wonder if college is within reach.
Businesses and English High alumni are invited to help by golfing during the event, sponsoring a hole or buying an ad in the program booklet. Proceeds from this event will go directly to scholarship assistance awarded during the school's "Senior Week."
