Alex Bonitto was a triple winner for the English High boys track team in a 72-63 win over Saugus Thursday at Manning Field.

Bonitto, a junior, won the 2-mile (11:17), 400 meters (:54) and the discus (115 feet) to help the Bulldogs improve to 2-4. English had a productive day up and down the lineup with Ben Adawale winning the javelin (114-7); Jevon Brown Simpson, the shot put (40-7) and Tizzy Boyles, the high jump (5-11).
The Bulldogs also had wins from Alex Ortega, 200 meters (22.0); Peter Mato, 800 meters); Chris Birotte, mile (4:50) and both relays. Boyles, Ortega, Khalil Fleming and P.J. Dorsey combined to win the 4 x 100 (46.2) and Birotte, Tyler Comer, Matu and Emmanuel Ezemba won the 4 x 400 (3:55.4).
Olisa Obiefuna was a triple winner for Saugus (1-5), winning the long jump, triple jump and 100 meters.
