LEHS English

The English Department's goal is to provide sound literacy and communication skills for all students so that they may compete in a global society. In addition to regular classes, honor courses are also offered for all four levels. Advanced Placement courses are available for those students who wish to pursue an intense course for college credit : Ap English Language in grade 11 and AP English Literature in grade 12. The department also provides courses for the SAT test and we provide adept support for the MCAS test for all students who take the test. In addition, Academic Support for the Hearing Impaired and Auditory Speech for the Hearing Impaired are offered. All students will benefit from the new computer writing lab. We encourage rigor and support students in this challenge.
